Weight Watchers Update

April 23rd, 2007 @ 3:32 pm by Mrs. Snow Pea

I’ve lost another 2 lbs since last week! It’s getting a lot easier and I’m excited to see the results.

What I have been doing differently:

  • snacking between meals at 10 AM, 3 PM, and sometimes 5 PM to take the “edge off” before dinner.
  • took sugar completely out of my coffee
  • eating bananas, apples, cucumbers, and cereal as snacks
  • using smaller plates and bowls

And yup, I am not depriving myself. I am still having ice cream and cake after dinner. I was never a dessert person though, so now I am wondering why I crave dairy and sweets.

I had the same experience on WW. I was never a big dessert fan until WW, when I developed an affinity for chocolate chip cookies! Till this day, chocolate chip cookies = successful diet for me!

Congrats Miss Snow Pea!!! Two pounds is a lot, good job. I’ve been snacking between meals, too. Trader Joes has these awesome cheddar cheese sticks and eating one fills me up really well!

I just started WW today! I was on it awhile back and its the only thing that works for me.

I also crave the ice cream while dieting. Love that I can still eat it.

Congrats on your success!

i’ve always craved ice cream since i was a little girl… could it be that you’re not getting enough dairy? be sure to keep drinking skim milk and eating fat free cheese. i love the babybels and laughing cow wedges on crackers. i heart edy’s slow churned (or dreyer’s for southern people) and all the different flavors they have!!

congratulations! i just wanted to drop a note to let you know that your blog has helped me tremendously with planning my wedding. i hired henry chan because of how great your photos turned out. thanks so much for sharing all of your finds! btw, who are you using to do your hair and makeup? i’m having a tough time finding someone who is willing to travel to my site and stay under $400 to do my makeup and hair. thanks!

nyc212 - Thank you. I am glad my blog has helped you. That’s exactly what I had hoped to do. Isn’t Henry great? He’s a really cool guy.

For hair and makeup, try calling Ai (prounounced “I”). She’s a friend of Sachiko Yanese. I think she does hair and makeup for a little less than $400 for a bride, and 2 bms. Additional girls are $150.
Her number is 917-328-8227
