Bridesmaid Dress Style

April 24th, 2007 @ 4:39 pm by Mrs. Raspberry

So while at home this weekend, we were able to FINALLY try on the dress that our bridesmaid dresses are being modeled after. As you may remember, we are having them made in Thailand. So, without any further ado, here is Lindsay, my MOH, in the dress in red (ours will be a dark salmon/pink; the style is Watters 9460):

I can’t tell you how excited we were when the girls got the dresses on and they were so pretty. I really wanted a dress that they could wear again, and was happy to find a style we liked. And to top it all off, we returned to DC today and I got the call that the dresses were ready and our friend’s mom would be bringing them from Thailand next week!!! More pictures then!

I love that sort of gathered look on the bodice. Very 1940s-50s, and very flattering :)

That’s beautiful! The great thing about it is that you can wear it on other occasions too…

I wish I wore a dress like this when I was bridesmaid. The dress is now sad and lonely in my closet.

I normally dont even like red as a wedding color but this dress is so cute it made me give red a break. The dress is cute and will be flattering on any body style. It will look great in your colors!

The dress is gorgeous! I would love to find something similar for my bridesmaids, only floor length. Your bridesmaids are very lucky. :)

Super-flattering. What did you decide to do in the back — bow/sash?
