Top Ten “Something Blue” Ideas

Too obvious? Ok, how about:
10. Peacock quill tucked over ear (also useful for signing autographs, surprise pre-nups, etc.)
9. Walk down runner pre-printed with “Blue’s Clues” pawprints
8. Have Lucinda Williams tune running through my head (must try to keep humming to a minimum, though)
7. Blue eye shadow, as an homage to Aunt Phyllis’s former disco-queen days
6. Small handful of blueberries in my palm (also handy in case of mid-vow hunger pangs)
5. Bluetooth headset (FMIL would love this one)
4. Slip Blue Cross / Blue Shield insurance card into shoe
3. Cuss a blue streak when my train snags on a folding chair
2. Pin fifth grade spelling bee ribbon onto veil (oh wait; third place was a red ribbon)
1. Lock eyes with Mr. Lovebug, disappear into his big blue peepers

This is totally random and non-wedding related….
But my husband has one of those “bathroom readers” when he moved into my apartment. I decided that it would look a little tacky sitting on top of the commode, so it’s on a book shelf. Anyway, I was flipping through it last night, and along the bottom they list all these one line random information. One thing I thought was interesting is that a Lovebug is a real bug! It gets the name because it spends the majority of its life mating.
Maybe a little too much information, but I had to share!
Emily: hahaha! I love it. Does the Discovery Channel know about this? Could be a FANTASTIC “Planet Earth” show…

heehee. i like! although i bought myself like three pairs of blue underwear to pick from on the day of for my something blue. not nearly as creative as your ideas. heh.
