It seems like I have been gone forever. The last few weeks of wedding planning were so hectic and then the wedding flew by faster than I could have ever imagined. When all was said and done…
I GOT MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My wedding was like a dream. Truly. My biggest hesitation in writing this blog was that it really makes it feel like it (the wedding) is all over… yet, all I want to do is experience everything all over again! People say that the day goes fast. I knew it would, but the whirlwind is more than I could ever accurately explain.
I stare so happily at my brand new wedding rings (I now wear two bands), and recall the day over and over and over in my mind. If there was a rewind button, I would jump at the chance to experience it again, because it really was such a special day.
I just can’t thank everyone who helped me through the year of wedding planning enough. As you ladies all know, it’s a ton of work. But it’s so worth it when on the day of your wedding there is nothing left to do but enjoy!
I will post pictures when I get them all and make sure to give the low-down on all the ups and downs of the final wedding week. But for now, get excited for your own weddings because I now know firsthand how truly spectacular a wedding day can be!

Congratulations! Reading your post made me think that I should have a videographer…perhaps it was the “rewind” part.

YAY-you’re married! How exciting. I can’t wait to hear your LAST WEEK BEFORE THE DAY ADVICE. I’m almost there! 
LS — looking back, I would say yes to the videographer. We hired one just for the ceremony and first dance because I wanted to make sure to see the ceremony later. Honestly, I can barely remember kissing Mr. Lily now — I just want to see the tape so my memory will be refreshed. In the end, my Dad told the videographer to stay through part of the reception because then HE wanted to remember everything!!!

Congratulations Mrs. Lilly. I got married 04/14 and I always feel a little conflicted when I think about it. It is over and now….? I wish it had gone better, but it was still a blast. I am glad I didn’t have a videographer because I get too anxious about looking at myself. But, the pics take forever.
