The Ceremony

April 26th, 2007 @ 4:23 pm by Mrs. Peach

I got to wait in the room where mothers and their babies sit during church–a room where you can see out but not in! Cool, eh?

And here goes the first one…the BMs walked down to “Canon”:

Does Mr. Peach look nervous? Why is he doing that funny thing with his lips??

pro 107

Me and my dearest daddy. People say we look alike! Not knowing any better, when I was young I’d get offended. How could I look like a man?? I love papa Peach. He is so funny. Even right up until we had to walk down the aisle, he insisted on practicing the walk. Dum, dum, da dum! We walked down to “Here Comes the Bride.” And it didn’t matter that we practiced so much… we were still a little out of step. I think I felt uncomfortable walking so slow and having everyone stare at me so I started speeding up. Ahahaha~it’s allll goood.

You notice the cloth in the background? Yeaahhheerrrr. There was some drama involved with that. I will post about this later. But yeah, it was NOT supposed to be there. We made the most of it though!

Closer up:

Even closer…MAN did you know I had SNOT mixed with tears coming down my nose during this time? I’m surprised the camera didn’t capture it. Ahahaha. I was, like, trying to sniffle it up, but couldn’t! And I couldn’t let go of Mr. Peach’s hand because that would have been super obvious. So yeahhh, I just had to let it run. Ahaha

Thanking Jesus…

I had a hard time getting the candle off to light the unity candle, so I was looking at Mr. Peach to see how he was doing:

This may seem like a weird question, but did your dress train sweep away the rose petals lining your aisle runner? I like the the look of petals lining the aisle, but my dress has a train, and I’m worried i’m going to sweep them all up to the altar with me as I walk!

Mrs. Peach says:

hey everyone~ thanks for the comments. i was wondering if people were getting sick of all of my pictures. or maybe i’m just staring at so many of them repeatedly… anyhoo.

Knitsandsews- actually that was a concern i had, but in the end it turned out okay. probably bc my dress wasn’t that poofy… altho if you look at the earlier pictures vs. the later ones you do notice the petals are a bit more messier at the end. but i think it still looked fine. =) so yeah, if your dress has a skinny train i think it will be fine.
