I am talking about the other love in my life…my “little” Brother Pea. He obliged his big sister with a visit last week, so we could catch up:
Brother Pea: So, how’s the wedding stuff going? Almost done? Time is getting close ya know.
Me: It’s good. Hey, did I show you my bridesmaids’ newsletter?
Brother Pea: Your what?
Me: Here. (With girly giddy pride)
Brother Pea: (a moment of silence, followed by a look of disgust, followed by a look of confusion) What? You’re crazy. Don’t spend so much time on this stuff. (throws it down)
Me: Heyyy, you have to read it.
Brother Pea: (flips through) These are the bridesmaids dresses? They’re blue?
Me: Yeah. It’s color CLOUD.
Brother Pea: Yeah, blue. So your girls are going to look like an ocean.
Me: Noooo, they are going to look elegant.
Brother Pea: They are going to look like an ocean.

BOYS! Yeah, guess why I’m going with a pink and green colour scheme instead of pink and chocolate? My brother’s assertion:
“The room is going to look like poop.”

me: our wedding colors are chocolate and raspberry
him: those aren’t colors, that’s food!
me: but… it’s like a dark rich chocolate brown and a deep dark raspberry pink
him: so, our wedding colors are brown and pink
me: but… oh never mind
My dad says that men only know 10 colors, beside black and white. So, minus brown and the rainbow colors, they only really have room to deal with three more!

Ha I just had my FI read my newsletter and he skimmed it and put it down and I was annoyed but he told me he only cared about the parts with his name. UGH! Oh well at least my maids enjoy it.
