I feel like I’m hogging the weekly round-up but this article from the Wall Street Journal on people who overdo the first dance song with fancy routines is classic..reminds me of so many people I know. With the link below you don’t need a subscription to the WSJ website to read the article.

What’s most terrifying about that video of the wedding party doing Thriller is that it’s a totally different wedding from the video of the wedding party doing Thriller with which I was already familiar.

In short, more than one couple did that.

While at YouTube, try to find the couple doing the lightsabre fight from Star Wars as their first dance.

Yes, I bought some MS Crafts stuff on Saturday at a Michael’s. Since my wedding colors are based on a MS paint chip I picked up years and years ago, I was able to grab one package of her new craft line that covered all of my colors. Even the groom thought that was cool.

Aaron Markson, 27, of Hudson, Wis., picked out the photographer and band for his nuptials last June. “It used to be that the girl made all the decisions, and the guy nodded his head,” Markson said. “For our wedding, it was much more collaborative.”

Dude, you made two decisions. That’s not that collaborative.

This one is funny. FI would not be happy if I married his brother.

Brother, can you spare a bride?
