A while back, we posted about Rariteas, a company that makes beautifully hand-tied tea leaves wrapped around a dried flower blossom that blooms in hot water. Well, they were kind enough to send us some samples, and we’d love to give them away! Just submit a comment below, and we’ll randomly select a winner to receive one each of Integrity, Humanity, and Eternity teas!
For the sake of science (and thirst), we tried one. This is what it looks like, from “bud” to bloom:

Pretty and yummy! Good luck - you have until 6 pm EST tomorrow to enter!

I’ve been keeping my eyes on blooming teas ever since I saw them on your site! I hope I win! ![]()
yes we can ship to canada or anywhere in the world. they really are very pretty - i’d definitely use them for a bridal shower myself! ![]()
I got them for my MIL after seeing them here and she loved them!
omg! it looks amazing… now i hope it tastes just as good as it looks!!! =0D
My grandmother is a huge fan of blossoming teas. These would make a great Mother’s Day gift.
i may be in the minority here but attempting to drink the tea with the huge flower coming at me would totally freak me out. O_O
This would be great for my wedding except for the fact that it will be in the middle of summer when it is 100+ degrees out and not very many people will want hot tea!
I actually showed them to my fiancee and he was amazed on how they looked. He’s seriously thinking to serve these tea after dinner at the wedding. I guess I should start looking for a clear tea pot.
Wow….that’s amazing….
PS. Have you seen “The Real Wedding Crashers” on tv? It’s a show abour real weddings where the guests are played upon a practical joke but the bride and groom are in on it! Very funny…
i have always wanted to try these. do they make jasmine tea flowers? i love jasmine tea!!!
How cool! I love tea! What an awesome and beautiful (and hopefully) great tasting idea!
I’m a total tea addict, but I have yet to try one of those. So pretty!
they’re white tea flavored. after seeping for hours, the tea has turned a light brown, but it’s still pretty!
They’re beautiful! We’ve given them as a hostess gift, but never bought them for ourselves.
Lovely! FYI, these were for sale at a recent NYC street fair — you can really negotiate with the street vendors, I would think especially if you are buying in bulk!
Pick me! Pick me! Originally I soooo totally wanted to do these for my wedding… but budget and catering decisions forced me to give it up.
I’m sooooo jealous!
They will be perfect for my Chinese Tea Ceremony, honoring our parents! How beautiful!
It’s beautiful and I wouldn’t mind being a proud owner of it.
Pick me! I love Teas… no coffee for me! Mightyleaf has some pretty good teas… but not as pretty as these!!!
oh that is so awesome? how much each are they? would make awesome favors wouldnt they?!
perfect! i was planning on serving tea at the wedding anyway, these would be awesome!
i’ve been eyeing these blooming teas ever since weddingbee first posted about them!
anyone try the Dragon & Phoenix tea leaves from Teavana? love it…but can’t get myself to buy 2oz. for $12! would love to win this!
i tried something like this a few years ago but the packaging wasn’t good…i can’t remember what the “tea bag” looked like though. i think it was pretty good - we were more focused on the look ![]()
My mom brought me back some of these teas when she came back from China a while back. They’re really expensive for each bloom. I think it’s like $1 usd or $2 usd per bloom which is expensive by chinese standards. I wanted to use these as part of a wedding favor but my mom nixed it. Lol.
i saw this in a store the other week..
very cool. i’m glad to hear that you described it as being “yummy” !! ![]()
Count me in! I love to try new teas and those look yummy. Thanks for the chance.
Oh WOW! I saw these in Marie Antoinette! They’re gorgeous! I’d save it after I drank it.
I saw these on that post and think they’ll make the perfect Christmas present for everyone I know!
I’m throwing my friend a tea for her bridal shower, these would be pretty amazing to use!
Those are beautiful…I’d have to find some way to keep it in the pretty flower shape though.

OOOOH I would love to be chosen! Remember I posted all about my bridesmaid tea/luncheon - well I really wanted to get these!!!!
I would love to win ![]()
It is beautiful. My three year old cousin will love seeing it turn into a flower.
I love it! I wonder what my tea loving wedding guests from England would have to say about this not so traditional take on tea…
id like some tea

im reading weddingbee!
haha, so corny. >_
they are so pretty
wonder if it would be a nice idea to be use for chinese tea cermony
saw them at Whole Foods - so lovely! would love to try.
I love the idea. Trying to figure out how to package them for favors if I buy the teas loose in bulk..
We are going to “afternoon tea” this weekend for a bridal shower, and are going to have this type fo tea! I’m really excited about it.
I have been debating about using these as favors at our wedding, but I feel like I should try a couple on my own before I give them to all of our guests. However, I think these are amazing..and I should try them soon!
I’ve officially quit my 6-cups of coffee a day habit as of last week. Instead, I’ve been drinking tea like crazy.

so gorgeous and different. My soon-to-be-father-in-law loves tea!!
Really cool. This would make a great idea for a tea or shower.
How original~ and a different way to enjoy the flowers in Spring ![]()
Oooh I love tea. My dentist knew just by looking at my teeth (gross?)
I have wanted to try these too. My sister is thinking of having a tea party shower for me- these would be awesome for that!
im thinking about buying those and serving them at our wedding! ![]()
I love the blooming flower tea! I found a great place in Chinatown (in San Fran) that sells them for very cheap! I just wish we had a place in Indy that I knew of that sold them!
oOoOo~pretty! Teaposy.com is another site that has the same concept and they have pretty glass teapots so you can watch it bloom!
If anyone has seen Marie Antoinette (any bride-to-be should, it’s very decadent and oh~ the colors!)… At one point near the end of the film, Marie’s brother comes to visit her from Austria, and she pours him a cup of flowering jasmine tea - “a gift from the emperor” she says. Flowering tea was blogged about on Shelterrific last month and the long list of reader comments include many resources for finding the perfect blossom for yourself (or your wedding!)

Wow, I can’t believe how beautiful that is! I thought the other photos were staged, but I guess not! ![]()
Hello. I hope I get picked. I plan to give a box at least to my WC, maybe other wedding people to. They are so pretty!!
I would love to try these! What a great idea for tea lovers.
Amazingly gorgeous! I never win lotteries or random drawings…but I’ll give this one another futile try. =) Love your website, by the way. I’m getting married in a few months and have been a silent reader/admirer of this blog. Thanks!
Wow! These are so unique and pretty. Would love to wine one!!!
I don’t care if I don’t win, I just have to buy these for myself! They are perfect for a decoration I was planning on for our house!
I love these…they’re so beautiful! I was thinking about using them as centerpieces ![]()
