Rice Krispie Treat Favors

May 7th, 2007 @ 2:56 pm by Reader Email

I got this shower favor idea from something posted on weddingbee forever ago, so I thought you might like to see the results. The bride-to-be loves rice crispy treats!

So cute! I had a wedding last fall that had a Rice Krispies groom’s cake! They served a little square alongside each slice of wedding cake and it was a hit. Great idea to make little mini ones as favors!

They’re low in fat, too. No, really.

They were pretty big (the bottom was about the size of a hockey puck), but they were for the spa day that we had, so generally we’d divide them up into the three pieces and share when eating them.

And the bride LOVED them!

These would be great for a candy buffet if you made slightly smaller versions.

They’re adorable! What molds did you use? Were they cookie cutters or something else?

CS says:

I bought the circle cookie cutters from William Sonoma (the tin of 13 or so of all different sizes).

A friend and I buttered up the cutters (and our fingers!) with Pam and pressed the rice krispies right into the cutters, popped them out and stacked while still warm. After they cooled, I added the ribbon and the paper flower on top.
