The ‘Good’ E-Pics

May 9th, 2007 @ 2:29 pm by Mrs. Blueberry

Yesterday, I posted some of our fun, goofing-off poses. Here are a bunch o’ the more ’serious’ ones.

This is what we’re using in the newspaper announcements:

It’s one of my favorites!

I like my hair in this one:

I looooove how our photog’s camera makes peoples’ eyes stand out so much!

I was laughing because it was really hard to kiss Mr. Blueberry with our photog’s two-year-old daughter (one of my preschool students) in the room:

So here’s the low-down on what happened: way back last summer, we hired one of the few photogs we knew of here in our small college town, to take e-pics on campus. They turned out like this, and the photog was so skeezy that we honestly couldn’t bear to go back and order prints–even if we’d wanted to! It was just a bad experience all around.

Then a couple months ago I was talking to the mom of a couple of my students, and mentioned our bad e-pic experience. She’s a photographer too, specializing in infant photography. She wanted to get started doing e-pics and wedding photography, though, so she agreed to re-do ours. And instead of charging me, I babysat for her girls for free (I love bartering!). This new photog has been a really great friend for helping us out like this, and we couldn’t be happier with our e-pics! If you’d like her contact info. and are in northeastern Missouri, shoot me an email at blueberry@weddingbee.com.

Super cute! And much….less ghost-like than your original batch. :-)

I have to say I actually prefer the original photoshoot. You guys just look a lot cuter, and I think he looks a lot better with the shorter hair. Oh- it’s also nice seeing you outside rather in the studio. But if you had a bad experience, I can understand how the photos might not channel good memories for you.

Both are cute! But I am sorry I also prefer the first batch. Love love love your hair cut in it and like the outdoor feeling. Good choice for the newspaper announcement.

Another vote for the first batch. These are cute, but I just like the first bunch better!

Working in the photography industry, I have to say that I like the first set alot better. The second set seems kind of amateur-ish to me. If you guys were unhappy with the first photographer I can understand not wanting to work with him again, but I like the style and quality of thoe photos better.

Y’all are cute. I like the second up from the bottom the best. :)
