Bridal Portrait

Ok, I couldn’t wait any longer. Just don’t show/tell my fiance!

These have not been retouched yet - you can see all my flaws, my crows feet, undereye circles, whatnot, yet they manage to really capture “me” if that makes any sense - i’m usually always laughing, having fun, relatively laid back (and apparently, prematurely aging! ). But something about the last picture, I just really love - but I can’t pinpoint it…..

so beautiful…show us more! i didn’t know what a “bridal portrait” was before all this wedding planning. i think i might feel funny getting all dressed up as if it were a dress rehearsal. do you think it will take away from the day itself?

burlingtonbride - actually, the funny thing is, I still dont feel like its REAL real yet :-p the first time i felt like a “real” bride was when my aunt came to bring me my veil int he middle of my session and she just gasped and was tearing up - i never would have guessed her for the tearing up type at weddings :) but honestly, I think that it will be just as wonderful/ even more so on the actual day of :)

Laura - I used cream vendela roses, green viburnum, weber parrot tulips, and cream ranunculus :)

Wow, those first two pics are straight out of a magazine. I love the texture and drape of your dress — what material is it?

Lovely! Don’t worry about lots of retouching; genuinely happy laughing eyes are supposed to crinkle at the corners! The joy is apparent in your expression.
