Mrs. Kiwi's Picture
Mrs. Kiwi, Los Angeles Age and Occupation in 06: 27, Bookkeeper Fiance's Age and Occupation: 27, P.E. Teach/Coach @ private schools in LA Engagement Date: March 31, 2006 Wedding Date: November 3, 2007 Venue: Radisson Hotel About Me: I'm a bookkeeper who failed high school algebra. I'm currently living in Los Angeles, literally a street over from where I grew up with Mr. Kiwi, my honey of three years. We have a jumbo mini-dachshund (seriously, he's huuuuge), and we're planning an autumn themed wedding on a shoestring, paid for by ourselves. The wedding date is my late grandma's birthday, I needed her there somehow, and that seemed like the best way for us. I can't believe I'm a Bee! I couldn't be more proud!

Cool Autumn Things

May 11th, 2007 @ 1:47 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Knowing about my insanity regarding our autumn wedding, Miss Bluebell found a great site for all things autumn! On Terry’s Village, they even have a section dedicated to pumpkins!

Anyway, a few great finds:

A wooden leaf and raffia door hanger, perfect to hang on the church doors. $7.95 each.

This is called a bread basket, but could (and will) be used as a basket for programs, bubbles, things like that. Usually $9.95 each, now they’re on sale for $3.49!!!

In case of young wedding party members (flower babies, ring infants), there is a wagon for $29.95!

For a mere $3.95, you can get 250 fake fall leaves to sprinkle around your venue.

There’s a ton more on the website, but you get the idea!

Miss Bluebell

Haha Tea, all I ever do in my spare time is send Miss Kiwi links to things saying “YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS!!!” Fall themed stuff is just too cute, and inappropriate for my wedding so I have to channel it all SOMEwhere! :-)

Man, those prices are crazy good. I wonder if maybe, possibly, they might have something for June brides…gah! Must stop shopping!
