Favor Boxes

May 15th, 2007 @ 5:16 pm by Mrs. Bell Pepper

These tiny favor boxes are really tough to wrap up. I tried wrapping one completely and it looked so messy. Here’s another attempt with the paper just wrapped around from top to bottom. It looks pretty good but I have to do something about the ribbon..it looks out of place. What other ideas can I use to wrap up these tiny boxes?

I also worked on the menu cards and here’s one unique idea I created. It’s very simple and I think it will look great along with the place settings.

if you want it sealed you can not do a bow and affix the ribbon to the box, then put the tag on top of it like you have done

or

not do the ribbon at all

If the box lids fit snugly enough can skip the ribbon completely?

I considered doing a circular menu as well, but how did you get it to print on circular paper?? Or did you cut it out? Thats what stumped me, so I moved on from the idea, hehe. But please share!

I found a circular paper cutter at the local craft store. This post is actually from awhile back, so I’ll post soon about our menu cards.

I love the favor box label. May I ask if you printed the label yourself and/or if the branch is stamped on? I found the exact branch as a rubber stamp, so I wasn’t sure how you did that. Sometimes a plain label is as simple and elegant as it gets. I don’t think it even needs the ribbon if the label is already adhered to the box.

I do a lot of scanning rubber stamp images so I can scale them and use them in printed materials. A little 1″ swirl printed on our response envelopes was scanned from a 4″ stamp.

You could tie the bow into individual little bows and hot glue them onto the box if it’s alright that the box not be sealed.

It all looks great btw!

The branch image is from a stamp website, I just reduced the size so that it wouldn’t be too pixelated in appearance.
