Fresh Floral Art

May 16th, 2007 @ 4:07 pm by Mrs. Bee

I love this fun arrangement using fresh strawberries, a blumebox, and Papertrey Ink stamps. It just screams summer and would be a lovely treat for your guests to take home at the end of the evening.

I never get sick of looking at beautiful, unique arrangements, but there aren’t too many floral design blogs out there. Have you come across any great ones you’d like to share?

I don’t know what the strawberry plant will look like now, but Home Depot sells the strawberry, blueberry and raspberry plants just like that for $9.99. If you want to DIY it, you can buy the blume box or cover the box it comes in with cardstock, wrapping paper and make your own label.

Also a great idea for the environmentally minded who might not want to use cut flowers.

Hint: Washed strawberries (berries in general) start to turn to mush quickly, so might be best to leave them unwashed for the best display.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. All day I was going crazy trying to remember the name blumebox. I googled everything close to that but finally gave up. And here it is on weddingbee. It’s meant to be for my rehearsal dinner.

This is a great post. I’m glad it was bumped. Otherwise I would’ve missed these very useful information.
