Mrs. Spider, would you mind sharing your DIY details on how to make your program & menu card (like alyson asked)? Gracias! :)
What font did you use on your invite? Do you happen to have a close-up pic of it?

I love the apples! Where did you get them? I’ve been looking on ebay but can’t find anything like that …

I love the apple idea too! I’m also using them as my placecard holders but they’re in green. I got mine from http://www.waxwizard.com.
Can anyone suggest a good place to get the tags for cheap or how you made them yourself? I might make them myself….Did you have to cut all of them out or did you get a cut-out stamp or something?

I also want to know about the apples. Where did you get them and how did you make the apple name tags? I have thought about using real apples but these look nice and would probably be easier. Any info would be great.

Here is my post about the apple candles: http://www.weddingbee.com/2006/07/31/perfect-pair/

Unfortunately, I made those teeny tiny tags myself. Designed my own leaf shape using Adobe Illustrator, printed out a million on cardstock then cute each one out with tiny manicure scissors. Curled each one with a pencil then tacked them into the wax apple with a tiny pin.

I will post a new entry tonight with pictures of each painstaking step. I bought baskets, shredded packs of green paper and nestled the apples in them. My freaking reception hall however decided to throw away ALL my efforts and just placed them on the table. I was sooo sad. Anyhow, more later with pics!

Also, more tutorials re: petal cones, menus, and programs. With all the other DIY bees here, I had no idea my stuff was gonna be good enough =)

Hi Mrs Spider,

I must agree with the other comments — I’d love to know how you did the menu, program cards and invitations. Especially how you came up with the patterns and designs. I’m going to attempt to DIY my invitations and can only hope they look as lovely as yours.
