Uggs. It’s hard to believe that tubes of fleece could generate much emotion, but I’ve witnessed some pretty strong-worded exchanges about them. In fact, when I Googled the phrase “I hate Uggs”, the comments to one of Miss Strawberry’s posts last year were the ninth entry that came up. Power to the hive!

If you’re an Ugg-hater, this product is not for you. But for those of us–I mean you–OK, fine, my name is Lovebug and I like Uggs–who don’t hate on the fuzzy wonders, how’s this for a bridal party day-at-the-salon gift:

Bootie Pies: pedicure boots with retractable tips, so your newly-polished toes don’t get mussed. At $128, they don’t come cheap. But if you’re a cold-weather or winter bride–and extremely generous to boot–they are kind of fun. Plus, they were in the swag bags of Grammy attendees this year. Fancy! Much cheaper and less controversial:

Pedi-socks, $5/ pair. I think I like my bridesmaids that much. These are actually a pretty good idea. Keep your moisturized tootsies nice and…moisturized.
