He proposed after dating just two months - crazy, I know, but 2 years later, here we are, still crazy in love :-). We are having not one, but TWO weddings and TWO receptions in one weekend - American-style and Vietnamese-style - in Dallas, Texas, where I was born and raised!

The Vietnamese Invitation Suite

The invite has a cut-out of a traditional wedding character and opens into a booklet with all of the information inside it. The paper is a pearlescent ivory - similar to stardream paper.

Everything came already assembled - ribbon, details, and all. The entire set comes with this main invite, an english/vietnamese insert with red thermography, a separate reception booklet, and an RSVP bi-fold card (a miniature version of the main booklet, cover and all) with matching printed envelopes with our names and addresses for each respective piece. I’ll post a picture of the entire suite later…Guess how much it cost?

Less than $1 USD per set. shocked

When I was in Asia during the winter, my mother and I stopped by several invitationers to select the perfect invite for the second reception and this one immediately caught my eye - it was bold, different, and actually looked somewhat nice, as opposed to the really ugly ones I’m used to seeing:

Ah, how I love Vietnam.
