On Monday, oh my, I was so sad. It was time to come back to reality after a spectacular bachelorette/bridal shower weekend in beautiful Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina!

In addition to lots of lying on the beach, my friends put together the most amazing set of shower games! There was the newlywed game, a Miss Bluebell trivia game, a who can pull X out of their purse fastest game, and, most impressively (aka THE COOLEST THING EVER), my maid of honor made a special version of Taboo called TaBluebell (”Bluebell” actually rhymes with “boo” in real life) with a whopping seventy-five cards about me and weddings in general! She hand made all the cards and even wrote “TaBluebell” in bubble letters on the back of every single one!!!! She is truly my hero. And Mr. Bluebell and I have enjoyed playing it at home too!

Then were the gifts! My friends just blew me away and I got sooo much great stuff!! And, not only the presents themselves were impressive - my maid of honor and one of my honorary bridesmaids also made this elaborate box for me with a collage and tons of commentary!

Then after a bit more beach time…

…it was time for the bachelorette portion! They got me a lovely tiara and even lovelier plastic heart shaped clip on earrings which I attached to my jacket.

Then the next day, more beach, more good food, more fun, and overall a fantastic success! Thank you guys soooooooo much for such an amazing weekend!!!!!
