Who loves a good deal? smiley1011 Last weekend I took a trip to Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx on a hunt for cheap wedding goodies. I must say, these stores just might surprise you with some really great deals!

Good call buying something for long-term use instead of something that screams “WEDDING” and is over-priced and blech quality and can’t be used again.

The card boxes are really neat. I’d love to find something unique like that to use at our wedding. Will have to start checking the discount stores. Thanks for the ideas! :)

I also love to treasure hunt at Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx! You can find the most unusual things there for a great price.

Miss Eggplant! Please tell me you picked up that shabby chic program holder so you can tell me more about it! I’ve been searching for something exactly like that, as we’re having a good ol’ black-and-white southern wedding with fleur-de-lis accents. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I got a bamboo box from Ross for my cards. Now it’s in my living room. :)

SKK: I didn’t pick up the program holder, but I can tell you that I found it at both Ross and Marshalls for the same price ($10.99). It’s about a little over a foot in length and really cute! If I stop by the stores again (which I definitely will :-)), I’ll find out more info for ya.

SKK — I’ve seen very similar items on ebay (search for mail organizers, bill sorters, etc.). Hope this helps.
