Cool Site: Toast & Tables

June 5th, 2007 @ 10:59 am by Mrs. Bee

I recently stumbled across a lovely blog called Toast & Tables in my surfing adventures.  Sarah Dennis, the blogger behind it all, covers everything from crystal to china to linens for “the well-dressed table”.  Her beautiful image layouts will help inspire your wedding tabletops and registries.  It’s one of my new favorite reads!

Her recent Cape Cod Inspired Table Setting post reminded me of Miss Corn and her New England clambake reception! :)

Oh la la!  Lobster inspiration galore!

My

These table settings are very lovely. The top setting looks exactly like one I saw in the Pottery Barn catalog.

Darnit.. now I want a clambake. Too bad the FI hates fish and I have allergic relatives. I’ve always wanted to attend or have one. I know that for the coming months I will be living through Miss Corn so if you’re looking here, Miss Corn- you need to post just about everyday ok? ;)

The lobster place card holder is sold at Pottery Barn. Set of 4 is $19.00.

I’ve neither attended a clambake nor hosted an event that required place cards, but for some reason I have never been more certain that I require lobster place card holders.

*snort* I just pictured a tank full of lobsters with names painted on their backs. Aunt Judy, Table 3.
