Inspiration

June 5th, 2007 @ 11:58 am by Mrs. Corn

Most of my inspiration for the wedding comes from growing up on the Jersey shore (which for you naysayers out there is actually a beautiful place…in most cases). I have long been a subscriber to Coastal Living Magazine and there are a few pictures from their magazine that have really inspired the style of our wedding as well. (please forgive the quality of these photos, as they are the magazine pages that I have taken pictures of with my camera)

I love the combinations of sand and glass and twilight and candles and water. I guess this is a bit like those Mood Boards that were on here a while ago. Just before I knew what a mood board was.

Look at http://www.plumparty.com and go to the theme section labeled Clambake/Lobster boils. Though lots of it may not be wedding appropriate- some could be. Like the shell napkin rings or the fisherman’s nets.

Isn’t it kind of symbolic to be using a lot of sand and glass in your wedding? The fact that glass is made from sand, kind of symbolizes the new life you and your fiance are creating. Like Sweet Home Alabama :)
