iris: uh oh, where did i make the typo? my planning bio?
bride2bee: We flew from LA to Tahiti with Air Tahiti and the next day took another flight (not sure what airline) to Bora Bora. It was all booked through Costco travel so I don’t recall the actual airline we took from island to island.
miss emerald: no way!! what a small world! he’s such a great guy. how do you know him?
OMG - what a wonderful wedding!!! This is the first time wedding PICTURES made me cry.
How did you design your invitations and the map/direction/accommodations cards? We’ve talked about Gocco on this board… but I need help with the beautiful broder graphic/design.
jean: awww! i’ve heard that a lot on the boards too! was it the pics with my dad?
AK: i designed the border in illustrator and created all the paths myself. it took a while but i did it.
otherwise you can always pick up a clip art book at barnes and use that. some even come with the images prescanned on a cd so you don’ t need a scanner. good luck!
re: the map i think i just took a snap shot of the google map and photoshopped it to look clean. hope that helps!

Wow. I checked this bio this morning when I should’ve been preparing for my presentation. There’s so much warmth, love, and joy conveyed in it. I’ve gotten tired of wedding planning and have reached my hiatus, but looking through your bio made me excited again about the upcoming wedding. hopefully my wedding could convey that much joy and love.
jessi: I got the hair flower from the salon where i had my hair and makeup trial - design visage in newport beach, ca. http://www.designvisage.com is their website. it was $165 but i’ll be willing to sell mine for less if you’re interested.
deesbride: aw, thank you! one of our friend photographers said he loved shooting our wedding because we’re both so expressive and open with our emotions. =) i wish you the same for your big day!

how did you do the monogramed initials? i’m planning to do something similar for my sister’s shower.
Sarah - it was definitely the pics with your dad!!! My dad is generally very unemotional too and your pics brought back memories of when I first told my parents of my engagement…they both started CRYING!!! My dad also started to get emotional during the father-daughter dance at the wedding of their friend’s daughter.

miss emerald: gosh, such a small world! and yes, i heard you had sent him a msg to say you saw his garter pics! LOL!
leah: i ordered the letters from craftcuts.com. then i tore the heads off fake flowers from michaels and glued them onto the wooden initials and just made sure to smush them right up against each other. used a staple gun to attach ribbon on the back for hanging. hope that helps!
jean: it’s funny that way isn’t it? my mom was so happy all day and my dad was the one to shed tears. well, me too. i always tell my twin brother that I’m Dad’s favorite. LOL! i’m glad you enjoyed our pics!

just a question regarding rancho las lomas: i heard that there is no AC at this venue. is this true? i am having a summer wedding, and one of my prospective photographers mentioned that the place is gorgeous, but super hot during summer months. may i also ask the venue rental fee? thanks!! 
yep, no A/C at rancho las lomas and i have also heard that the heat is pretty unbearable in the summer. i think the venue rental fee was $5k. there’s also mandatory valet service which is not included in that fee. and if you choose to have an outdoor reception there’s an additional fee for that.
everything is so BEAUTIFUL!
oh my god, i totally cried with the dad and bride pix! and i’m at work! the first picture, i was able to hold it in, but then came the father-daughter dance and i just couldn’t hold it anymore!
everything was beautiful! and i’m also using ‘how sweet it is to be loved by you’ on my wedding (for the candy bar buffet)! in fact, i’m using “sweet” as a sort of theme throughout the wedding!
