After a long 12 week-ish lead time (I can’t even remember - it’s been so long!), the bridesmaid dresses are finally here! Apparently, all Saeyoung Vu Couture dresses take that long - they were exactly on time.
I headed straight to the boutique, Bridal Collections by Stella, after I got off work. I called up one of my bridesmaids and best friends, T, to meet me at the boutique to try on her dress - she works across the street, so it was convenient for her.
The dresses were just beautiful - I absolutely love ANYTHING in dupioni silk.
Here she is trying it on:
Designer: Saeyoung Vu Couture
Color: Chestnut Brown
Style: Marysol - long

She’s holding up the dress because it was too large - even though it was a size 0.
You know what the best part is? She is SKINNIER now than she was before she had a baby. I am SO jealous!
Anywhoo - we played with some sash/accessory options while we were there - Stella and Helen, the owners, helped us - they’re fabulous - they’ve been extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process! They helped us to order the correct sizes and gave great advice on ways to alter the dresses.

I give them an A++ and would definitely use them again. We are going to head down to the fabric district this weekend to decide what shade of blues and/or champagne/ivories we want to use for the dupioni sashes. We’re going the DIY route because Saeyoung Vu wants to charge us around $150 a piece for a sash. No thanks, Saeyoung - I think the dress was expensive enough, but thanks anyway.
