I’ve got a lot on my plate right now. Too much in fact. My life has turned into quite the juggling act and it is taking everything I’ve got not to drop the ball! I have a regular Monday-Friday, 9 to 5, bill paying job–which I despise. It is beyond boring, but it pays well. Quitting is not an option…unfortunately.
My second job was created due to my complete and utter hater for the aforementioned job. I started my own day of coordination company called Pink Pineapple Events. It allows me to work in a field that I love dearly and get ideas for my own wedding in the process.
My third job is my dream job. I work weekends at a radio station here in Seattle–Saturdays from 3-9pm and Sundays from 10a-3pm. I absolutely adore working there. However, it means I work 7 days a week. When I have a wedding, I have to pre-record my show and that is even more work. And then on top of everything else, I’m planning my own wedding. My own wedding planning seemed to take a back seat to everything else in my life and subsequently, my weddingbee posts suffered and any social life I had for that matter!
I hope to be back on track soon and will post all of my wedding projects as I complete them!

We have a sister station here in the Bay Area! I think it’s Movin 99.7. But their deejays are lame and unfunny, I’m sure you’re WAY better (even when taped )

Em–Yeah there are lots of movin stations across the country. I think Seattle is the only station that is doing well. I think it’s because there is nothing similar in the market..as opposed to the others that are inundated with something similar.
Hang in there!! I run my wedding planning company while working another job, so you can do it. Just a lot of long nights, early mornings, and caffeine Holler if you ever need advice!

I miss you and your great finds Miss Strawberry (not to mention your funny posts like when you accompanied your friend to the wedding and didn’t have an outfit..), but I am SO happy for you with all the things you’ve got going on to make your dreams come true and work, as a whole, less mundane.

i hear ya about juggling - i work full time, have my own wedding planning biz, LOVE movin 997 in SF, and have a blog (www.amysguide.com) which has been neglected for the past 6 mos b/c I have not had a second to post b/c I’m just too busy when I’m not at work. I can’t imagine having a 3rd job. Hang in there!!
