Invitations Finally!

June 8th, 2007 @ 6:02 pm by Mrs. Orchid

Taking a good picture of my invitations has proven to be quite the challenge. First off, they are printed on this beautiful pearlescent paper that has this beautiful shimmer. However when you take a picture of it, that beautiful shimmer turns into an ugly over exposed glare. bummed01 And on top of that, the crappy lighting in my apartment doesn’t help much either. But here they are folks! I tried my best. Without further ado, I present to you my invitations, that are printed in not one, not two, but THREE different languages! Haha…

They are beautiful!
When did you send them? Aren’t the Hershey Kiss stamps only for 39 cents? Or did they make a 41 cent version that I so need to buy!

Thanks for the compliments ladies! :) I got these printed while I was in Thailand in April. I choose the paper and worked with the designer with the actual design and layout of the invites.

Janie- I think you can buy this paper at Paper Presentation, or Kate’s Paperie. It is called pearlescent paper.

J - I didn’t officially send them yet. Still working out the kiniks in my guest list. The stamp that you see is the 39 cent stamp. I’m using them for my RSVP postcards, not the actual invite mailing. I wish they made 41 cent ones also!

They’re beautiful! I love that shade of pink!

We’re having two separate weddings. So one invite has Chinese and English and the other invite has Cambodian and English.
