Scary Mannequin, Cute Earrings

June 9th, 2007 @ 10:15 am by Mrs. Strawberry

I’ve been looking high and low for the perfect pair of chandelier earrings. I’ve scoured high end shops and websites only to find the perfect pair for only $20! Now, they will probably turn my ears green and make them fall of my body, but I figure for the short time they will be attached to me head–totally worth it.

The site is called weddingsparkles.com and they have a wide selection of fairly tacky costume jewelery. However, they do have a few hidden treasures. I’ll have to wait and see if they look too cheap in real life–I’ll keep you posted.

Also note worthy are the creepy mannequins.

Dunno… A smaller version of the above might look more realistic. Actually, I definitely prefer real jewelry for wedding day, even if it’s only inexpensive pearl stud earrings. Something about authenticity seems more bridal to me. Harks back to the Rachel/Leah bait-and-switch in the Bible, maybe. Then, I don’t go for fake nails, eyelashes, or hair extensions, either. Just my 2 cents.
