I wanted to share a tip my FSIL gave me this weekend. It may be improper etiquette, but may help some brides out.
When trying on dresses in shops that don’t allow pictures, make a pouty face and say “I wish my Mom could see me in this dress. She’s so far away and I can’t make a decision without her!” She said the person helping her would take a picture of her for her!
It made me laugh, because it sounds like something I would do. I don’t know how to make it work if your mother is along with you, but I’m sure there is a way.
