About Mrs. Corn

Since I posted a picture of my dream dress earlier…here is a picture of the dress I ordered. It is an Alfred Angelo that I purchased through Manhattan Bridals in Dedham, MA (an incredible store that I will have to review later).  Mine will be light champagne and dark champagne instead of the white and red below.

The last time I saw it in person was in early December; I think that’s why I am having second thoughts. I just keep trusting the fact that I KNOW I loved it when I tried it on. Besides, I have a cathedral-length veil, and as far as I’m concerned I could just wear that with a T-shirt and jeans and I would feel like a bride!

I agree I too have a cathedral length and the moment I put it on I was ready to go to the church! Your dress is pretty and dont worry second thoughts are so normal once the dress is ordered.

Your dream dress is beautiful, but this one is beautiful too! I laughed when I read “crusty stuff.”

My friend got married in that dress in red like in the picture. It was so neat because the church they married in had red carpeting, instead of the usual green that you see. I teased her about being so perfect even the church was in her wedding colors :)

Wow…Kandace…I have never even heard of a green carpeted church! Your friend must have been relieved she DID match!!

Wow! I live in Dedham! I never would have thought to go to that salon. I can’t wait to read your review. This website has been so beneficial for me. We’re not engaged yet, so I totally related to your post about planning before the actual engagement. I liken it to house shopping - I have been researching and hunting and weighing my options for a long time now. It makes me feel more informed about the locations, amenities, all that good stuff. Anyway, thanks for the local info, I look forward to more updates from you!

Oh and I love, love, love that dress. It’s bookmarked in all of my magazines. Awesome color choices. I love the options with it. You have great taste!
