Shall We Dance?

June 13th, 2007 @ 6:54 pm by Mrs. Bell Pepper

Just a few photos taken by Mr. Bell Pepper’s friend:

I didn’t want to pay for dance lessons so we did a simple yet romantic slow dance. Mr BP taught me how to dance to our song the night before our wedding. I love the lighting on the dance floor; it was designed by Jason from Synergetic Sounds. He worked as one of the lighting assistants for Mrs. Anayisnin’s wedding. Her vendor is known to do an amazing job with lighting but the cost was way over our budget and our venue site was so small in comparison to other venues. We paid $575 for lighting on the dance floor, pinspot lighting on the tables, cake table and of course, the candy buffet! :)

At the end of the night, the fire alarm went off and we all evacuated the museum! We still had fun hanging outside with our guests.

Oh my heavens, the fire alarm went off during your wedding reception? What a shame! Then again it sounds like you have a good attitude about it and it didn’t ruin anything I hope. Probably a funny story to look back on later.

The pictures of you two dancing are lovely!

At least the alarm didn’t go off during the ceremony! We were lucky it happen late in ght night, everything was chill at that moment. The weather was so beautiful and we had a good view of city hall from the museum.

Well, the wedding was small so it easier to DIY everything. I don’t think I could do a wedding over 100 guests, it’s just too much labor!

As far as work, I did have a few months of call and I definitely couldn’t do much during those crazy periods of my life. I tried to do everything during my electives, which were scheduled towards the very end. I did radiology around my wedding day, which might be the best elective to schedule if you haven’t done so yet! :)

The fire alarm story will be a great tale! Talk about a surprise outside your control. Hope you got some funny pictures. Would be a cool conclusion for the wedding photo album!

Reminds me of the life-affirming ending of the Elizabethtown movie.
