Mrs. Kiwi's Picture
Mrs. Kiwi, Los Angeles Age and Occupation in 06: 27, Bookkeeper Fiance's Age and Occupation: 27, P.E. Teach/Coach @ private schools in LA Engagement Date: March 31, 2006 Wedding Date: November 3, 2007 Venue: Radisson Hotel About Me: I'm a bookkeeper who failed high school algebra. I'm currently living in Los Angeles, literally a street over from where I grew up with Mr. Kiwi, my honey of three years. We have a jumbo mini-dachshund (seriously, he's huuuuge), and we're planning an autumn themed wedding on a shoestring, paid for by ourselves. The wedding date is my late grandma's birthday, I needed her there somehow, and that seemed like the best way for us. I can't believe I'm a Bee! I couldn't be more proud!

Something For Everyone

June 14th, 2007 @ 5:45 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Even though I’d love to win $25,000.00 for our wedding, I don’t know if I would be willing to eat a crapload of cake. Bridezillas (the WE television show) sponsored a contest like that. The brides-to-be were dressed in wedding-day finery and had tiers of small cakes in front of them. The bride who ate the most cake won. I like cake, but not that much!

You can see the video here, on CNN.com.

Also at CNN.com, you can find a real-life Jedi wedding. For those Star Wars fans out there, here’s a video for you! If I had to dress as a storm trooper in the sun, I’d kick some ass.

So, enjoy the links, and may the force be with you cake-eaters. happy05

Think those are, like, garage sale wedding dresses they wore just for the contest, in case they got ruined?

The bride who almost threw up in her hand — sorry, but I had to laugh, it was so gross.
