WANTED: More Great Ideas!

These are exciting times here at Weddingbee. Summer’s in full wedding swing, we’ve got new bees and newly minted brides–we’ve even had record traffic lately!

And now we’ve got yet another thing to be buzzed about. We’re officially open to submissions from guest bloggers! happy010

We’ve long known that our readers are chock-full of great ideas, and now the world can know, too! If you have an idea for a post (a DIY project, a fantastic find, research to share, etc.), you can submit a “single-serving” guest post for consideration.

For the full guidelines, see the Guest Bloggers page here. (That link is also a permanent part of our homepage, on the right hand side under “MORE”.)

All are welcome: readers, photographers, industry professionals. And you don’t need to have a blog to send something in. We’re just looking for informative and inspirational input to enrich the community.

Tea: posts should be about the length of typical weddingbee post, so you can just copy and paste whatever you’ve written and send it wholesale. But if sending it as a doc is easier, that’s fine, too…

As the page says, we’d prefer if people didn’t send us links to their blogs; we’re looking for “single serving” posts.

Cyan: omigosh, thank you. I’ll email you the link to my wedding blog, although most of what I post on it ends up here. Except for my whiny, ranty, or otherwise unsuitable stuff

As to the other bees’ blogs, a lot of them are on Xanga..but you’ll hafta ask them for their addys

Look at me, serial commenter. To clarify for Tea (and anyone else), if you’re submitting something from your blog, it’s fine to send us a link to the particular post you want us to use.

We just want to stay away from a “Here’s my blog, use whatever you like!” sort of thing.
