Teach/Coach @ private schools in LA Engagement Date: March 31, 2006 Wedding Date: November 3, 2007 Venue: Radisson Hotel About Me: I'm a bookkeeper who failed high school algebra. I'm currently living in Los Angeles, literally a street over from where I grew up with Mr. Kiwi, my honey of three years. We have a jumbo mini-dachshund (seriously, he's huuuuge), and we're planning an autumn themed wedding on a shoestring, paid for by ourselves. The wedding date is my late grandma's birthday, I needed her there somehow, and that seemed like the best way for us. I can't believe I'm a Bee! I couldn't be more proud!

Guest Book Find at Etsy

June 19th, 2007 @ 4:40 pm by Mrs. Kiwi

Even though I already have my standard white guest book (which drives me crazy since it’s WHITE and nothing else in our wedding is white, but it was a gift so oh well), I found a fabulous one at Etsy!

By seller Repaper, it’s a beautiful gold and cream creation with matching gold endpapers. A hand-bound spine sewn over gold organdy ribbon, I literally drooled when I saw it. Best thing? Twenty bucks!!

This, for $20.00!!

I got my handmade guestbook at Etsy too! It was $30 total with shipping and handling. The seller (thewritersbook) even customized my paper to my theme colors and made my book especially for me. She scanned different paper choices and emailed them to me to choose beforehand. Now that’s customer service! The craftspeople on this site are wonderful, in my opinion. I also bought personalized handmade cards for my attendents on Etsy…

I like the look of the paper. It’s a really nice book and at a steal of a price too…

Everything about etsy is fantastic. I had custom letterpress “be my bridesmaid” card made through a seller there and ordered a bunch of earings made for the BMs. Everyone I’ve worked with has been so sweet and helpful.

Ha, you made it so popular that it sold out today! Miss Kiwi, is there anything you can do to make you happier with your guestbook? Maybe tie a ribbon in one of your colors around the frontcover or something? I’m sorry you’re not happy with it!

Yeeeaah, BB, I totally didn’t think of that!!! It’s like, a padded white fabric covered guest book. Hmm. I’m going to take a picture of it and ask what you guys think I should do.

Yay! We’re happy to help. Seriously, I’m sure there’s a way you could dress it up and make it look really pretty (read: not like you attacked it with a Bedazzler).
