These Hot Summer Nights…

June 19th, 2007 @ 8:27 am by Mrs. Snow Pea

…call for some refreshing water from Mr. and Miss Snow Pea! I finished our first batch of water bottles last night. I updated the label since my first mock up and added a picture of us in a bubble and a few extra calories. Hey, they say you gain weight when you’re happy!

A virtual oatmeal raisin cookie for anyone who can tell me where I got the number from?

I added our picture in a bubble. I swear our guests are going to be so sick of seeing our faces after this wedding. The picture bubble reminds me of Photofetti.

4 water bottle labels fit perfectly on a sheet of 8.5″X11″ sheet of paper. I used my office photo printer then cut them with our plot cutter, and made the cap labels 1″ in diameter. I adhered the labels using 3 glue dots on the edge and 1 glue dot for the cap. It’s very tacky and won’t peel off. Glue dots save the day!

Those are my finished flower pens in the background. I added some lime hydrangea just like my centerpieces. They were also $1.19 for 3 flower heads at Michaels. :)

Hi Miss Snow Pea! I love the picture bubble you added! What kind of paper did you use for the labels? Is it waterproof?

Hi Everyone,
The paper I used is just glossy photo paper. I purchased a pack of glossy photo paper from Staples. It’s not water proof but I think that’s okay. It’s just for one day.

CS is the winner of the cookie. Here you go!

The cap label has our initials and our wedding date on it.

A year actually has 525 948.766 minutes. I wonder what happened to the other 5 hours? Is it something in the song or show that I am missing?

Miss Snow Pea - 60 minutes in an hour X 24 hours in a day X 365 days in a week = 525,600 minutes.

Rent is one of my favorite. movies. ever. Whenever I’m having a bad day I put it on and prance around my apartment (yes, prance.) I even have the soundtrack on my Ipod!

HAHA! This entry made me laugh out loud! It’s funny because I’m toootally going to use this idea! We’re not having favors because of budget and I felt bad. But water bottles can be their “party favors” since water will be there anyway!

Great great idea!
