Damis’s Storyboard

June 20th, 2007 @ 4:19 pm by Reader Email

I’m getting married to my darling H2b (husband-to-be) on 26th Dec. 2007 in Lagos, Nigeria, though we presently both live in the UK. We’re going for a fun atmosphere at our wedding, with a party (note: not so much reception) where our guests who cut across several generations can enjoy themselves.

Colours are chocolate brown and blue (my own version of the tiffany blue fad) with platinum as the accent colour. I’m going for a classic, vintage-yet-fresh feel. I’ll be wearing a bird cage veil, upper right, while my six BMs will wear an Alfred Angelo bubble hem dress.  The groomsmen will be wearing TM Lwein shirts since I wasn’t comfortable making them wear blue/blue! H2b is going for the classic white shirt with white silk tie. The pave ring, I have my heart set on goes perfectly with my engagement ring (which can be seen on our
website).

Our theme, if we have one, is really just celebrating our love with our friends and family on boxing day in all that christmas-y joy of the season way!! I beely love weddingbee.com ~ Damis

Can somebody tell me how to create one of these storyboards? Is it in MS Paint? I’d love to create one myself!

Ashley: If you don’t have Photoshop or Illustrator, a very easy way to do one is in Powerpoint. You copy and paste all your photos onto one slide. Arrange them in layout. When you’re done, just select “Save As” and under format select “JPEG” and then it will ask you to save the current slide or whole presentation. In which case, you just save the current slide and voila, you’ve got a JPEG file of your storyboard/collage.

Wow! We could have the same storyboard! Those are our rings, the pic of the table setting is the exact one that I am using as my inspiration, I almost ordered those exact invitations, and I’m wearing a black sash with my dress! We’re practically wedding twins! Everything looks beautiful!

Sweet! The birdcage veil and dress photo was actually taken by my photographer - Lynn Michelle Photography. She has a bunch more from this wedding on her site: http://www.lynnmichelle.com.
