About Me: I have been in wedding planning mode since Mr. Jelly Beans popped the question almost two years ago. I am a very dorky and sentimental person. I love laughing and living life alongside my husband-to-be. We have been in a long distance relationship for over 6 years - he is in California and I am presently in Canada, so you can imagine how excited we both are for our upcoming wedding.

Hi *points to name tag* I am Miss Jelly Beans and I am a weddingplannaholic!
Once upon a time (July 2005), in a land far, far away (it’s really not that far), Mr. Jelly Beans got down on one knee (he hates getting his clothes dirty, so I knew this was big), on a very windy day (good thing I had a cute white blazer on), at the very top of the Eiffel tower and asked Miss Jelly Beans to be his wife. To this day he claims Tom Cruise stole his idea. 
We have been together for almost 9 years now and have been in a long distance relationship for 6. I moved from sunny-all-year, Los Angeles to four-seasons, Ottawa 6 years ago with my family. This was not a deterrent but merely a minor navigational glitch in our relationship.
Since that day, I have been envisioning our pink, brown and sparkly wedding with a vintage, Parisian twist. My middle name is Details. People (Mr. Jelly Beans & my mom) refer to me as, Miss Jelly Details Beans.
We are both 3/4 Filipino and 1/4 Chinese (Thanks Lolo Johnny) = 1 Perfect match! I swear it was meant to be. We would love to incorporate both cultures in our wedding celebration.
I am thankful each and every day that we have been blessed with the existence of sugar! So choosing Miss Jelly Beans was a no-brainer. With all the pretty colors and flavors, what’s not to love?
Because we all share that special “I have, I am or I will be planning a wedding” bond, I thought I should share a few useless facts about myself and Mr. Jelly Beans.
- Mr. Jelly Beans sounds like a litte girl when he giggles
- Miss Jelly Beans sounds like a 5 year old boy in the morning (Just ask any telemarketer)
- Mr. Jelly Beans likes to dust every Wednesday
- Miss Jelly Beans likes to put sugar in her spaghetti

Long distance is difficult but it’s the best thing ever for your relationship! We did the same thing although for only 2 years. I also LOVE sugar in my spaghetti! and milk with anything italian and tomato based!

we have a few things in common. i’m quite detailed oriented myself. i am chinese (but people always think i’m mix of both chinese & filipino especially when i’m with mr. violet who is fully filipino.) we also got engaged in paris. he proposed on a bridge behind notre dame. he wanted to do it in the gardens but it was closed. we were college sweethearts and have been together for 8 years now!
oh, and i put sugar in my spaghetti sauce too but while its still cooking in the pan.

I totally relate with the happy kind of jealous. Whenever I went out with other couples I would always want to run home and call Mr. Jelly Beans. I was happy for my friends but it made me really miss him so much more. *Hugs*

i put sugar in spaghetti tooo!!! but just when i cook it. my friends ridicule me for it. my fiance ridicules me the most for it! but it makes it taste better, no? once, i had she most sour spaghetti and i put sugar in it in the restaurant. FI was so embarassed. hehe!
