“Simply removing the dot from the word ‘claire’ reveals the word ‘dave’ proving that they really were meant to be together.”
Together, the vellum and the cardstock say “claire is marrying”
Flip the vellum, and the print underneathe says “dave”
“The word ‘dave’ was printed in metallic blue on uncoated white stock and covered by a translucent stock which carried the dot of the ‘i’ and the wedding details on the reverse. The two sheets were then stitched together with white cotton.
Entered into D&AD 2007 Annual. Won Gold in the New York Festivals.”

Love it though our names wouldn’t fit like that 
This is up there with one I saw with 2 fingerprints making a heart.
The fingerprint one is kind of common I think.. or else I just really look at way too many invitations.. which is also quite possible.

Clever.
Even with names that are very different, this could be done with block lettering, if the top layer contains the longer name and lifts away away a lot more of the lines.
