Uh oh….Reminds me of a Seattle wedding! On the bright side rain is suppose to be good luck.

SCATTERED - scattered thunderstorms - that is good! that means there is a strong possibility your day will be sunny when you are outside and so yummy thunderstormy when you are inside. And it IS good luck. And 60% is only 10% above 50 which means you’re at nearly a half an half chance here!

Note the TIP at the top! MAKE SURE YOUR GUESTS WILL HAVE SHELTER FROM THE SUN.

You’re golden - no worries.

T-storms generally come and go quickly! I love them, though - so dramatic! As long as they’re really “scattered,” it should be fine! You might get some cool photos out of the deal, at least, right? :)

Rain is good luck! *I personally think that is b/s but it’s what “they” say*
Storms might produce a pretty sunset!
I’ll cross my fingers for you though!!

I KNOW! I have been looking at weather.com every day to see if it changes. Right now, for me, it says scattered showers but at night, clear. My mantra is: Rain, Rain Go AWAY! I’d love to have a lovely outdoor wedding…….

Fingers Crossed!

But with the weather patterns that have been hitting Dallas and northern Texas for the last few weeks… make sure it’s a short run from the parking lot to the venue door. Hasn’t the city had serious floods recently?

Good luck with the weather. I hope everything comes out great. Rain is not always a bad thing. I think there is even a Rainy Day Weather bio on the knot to show how pretty and perfect it can still be.

No matter what, your event will be gorgeous.

I know weather is one thing that brides can’t control, but I know that your wedding will be a beautiful event no matter what - esp. since you are one the most organized and well prepared brides I know! ;)

I saw the same thing on my wedding week and I flipped out. It actually didn’t rain until…right…before…i …started…to …walk…down…the…AISLE!!! (It was all outdoors!) But if you have a chance to purchase umbrellas, I say go with similar colors or simple two-tone designs you like…that way you’ll have them on hand and the pics will come out nice. I didn’t want anyone holding umbrellas at the ceremony, but because I bought the umbrellas myself, I was able to have coordinated looking pics as if it was intended…WAHLA!!! :-)

Miss Plum–as everyone said, it’s “scattered” thunderstorms. I got married three weekends ago (June 3rd.) Rain was forecast for the entire ten days before, eventually it said “scattered” showers. What happened? In the morning it was cloudy but bright, and my photographer told me it was the best light to work in. For our outdoor ceremony, the sun came out! To be honest I didn’t even notice, only that it wasn’t raining. (Concentrating on other things.) And we were under the chuppah, anyway. The cocktail hour outside was lovely and overcast again. It did start raining, but not until 4pm, when the reception was quite definitely indoors. Worked out perfectly!

I’m sure your wedding weather will work out. Congratulations! And good luck.

We will keep our fingers crossed for you *fingers crossed*

On a brighter note: Umbrella pictures are gorgeous! :)

I’m getting married June 30th too. But it’s not supposed to rain here… sorry. Anyway, I bought large golf umbrellas for each “pair” in our wedding party and one for the bride and groom. I found some nice black ones with curved wood handles from the Burlington Coat Factory for $5! I’ve left the packaging on them and if it doesn’t rain I can return them. If not we’ll have some cool pictures.
