Gifts For the Kiddies

June 22nd, 2007 @ 6:38 pm by Mrs. Jelly Beans

My mom and I worked on the kids shirts yesterday and they turned out way better than I imagined. I purchased pink and green shirts from Michaels. Alas they didn’t have any brown ones, but they were on SALE! Yeay! :) I also bought some iron on letters. They had so many to choose from but I picked the collegiate looking ones.

We placed their initials in the front, and then their respective ages, by the time we are married, on the opposite sleeve. I thought it would be a nice momento for both their parents and the kids. So when they look back many, many eons from now they will remember that they were “insert age here” when they performed the special task of ringbearer or flowergirl!

We rolled the shirts up and tied them with an inexpensive white ribbon!!! I think the contrast against the bright colors make them look so freakin’ cute. :)

Bring on the pics….

Too cute. The ribbon makes it look like you purchased them pre-made.

Super-cute! Kids will get a kick out of this.

Nice that it’s personalized for the recipient and not the giver.

Simple but very attractive to kids! May I ask where is that Michaels. What’s the occasion by the way? Why did you have to give them those cool shirts? I love the ribbon. White for a ribbon is safe for all kids regardless of their gender. You may also use red if it’s for their birthday right?
