haha! i worked for sanrio for 6 years and i realllllllly wanted a hello kitty themed wedding but i got turned down by my groom 
lol but i added a lot of little hello kitty details :X hope he doesn’t notice. haha
I am so disturbed by this. Which is why I’ve watched it three times already.
Hahaha, Miss Lovebug, you’re funny. That is WAY too girly for a groom (even for myself too!).
Wow. I am speechless. I really give the groom props for putting up with all that.
I am hoping it was a contest they won where Sanrio paid for everything and gave them perks we didn’t see on the video because W0WzER!
Any theme can be overdone.
OMG!!!! That is one of the craziest things i have seen in a long time! I just sent this to one of my girlfriends that is getting married…maybe she’ll change her mind about the theme of her wedding and change it to this…HA!

Can someone explain to me what Hello Kitty is? Beyond merchandise, no one has been able to tell me if it originated with a TV show, a toy, a comic book, something else? I just don’t get how a cartoon cat would become so popular without something else behind it… particularly with older girls. Can someone enlighten me?

wow how come the parents don’t look happy at all? also, how come the host is holding a microphone that bears the Hong Kong MTR logo? I suspect its some type of publicity event for the MTR (Hong Kong’s subway system)

I’m surprised she didn’t wear one of those Hello Kitty dresses! Yeah, just think how they will feel 20-30 years from now when they look at their wedding photos!
um, why is the event in the subway? with all those people standing around. Hello Kitty is meant to be only as big as erasers and coin purses - not 6′ tall. SCARY!

giant hello kitties are really scary. at least one of them didn’t conduct the ceremony.

Well it is her day, so you can’t really knock that. Different…. Definately don’t really have any words for this…lol.

Wow her husband let her do that?! My FI is telling me I have to lose the Bluebear bathroom set for our new home and she gets to get married with a Hello Kitty theme?! My FI’s got it good! =)
I think it was a wedding contest from Hong Kong and they were selected as a winner. They were all talking in Cantonese so it’s pretty interesting that I was able to understand what was going on. Pretty embrassing to do that. As for wedding you want to have your own them and identity. Hello Kitty is pretty childish in my personal opinion, but I love Hello Kitty. But it was a lovely wedding and decorations they had.
Oh my goodness..at least the groom should have put his foot down! But then his name is Horlich..?! Guess he liked the drink.
haha..i love hello kitty…but i don’t know if i could pull that one off…maybe just a little here and there…but the hello kitty heads on the flowers…yikes…creepy
