I knew that once I bought my wedding dress that I could never set foot into another bridal salon. I knew it would also be wise not to look at any dresses in magazines or store fronts for that matter. I didn’t apply that rule to any other aspect of my wedding. I made the mistake of looking at the Jim Hjelm website today, specifically at the bridesmaid dresses. It doesn’t hurt to look, right? Wrong. I adore them all. I want them all.
Cute. Except I personally can’t take the bubble skirt! So 1987. My DH went so far as to say it looks like the hemline must have gotten caught in the panties.
is that first blue dress with the ruffled bodice a tea-length or full length. i wished they’d show it. i really like it!
i love the back bows on the last one! so cute!
I love the first one - so much that is it what my bridesmaids are wearing - But please be aware that the dress has a drop waist and the size chart does not match the dress. I currently have 6 out of 8 of my bridesmaids reordring dresses, extra fabric and praying for miracles so that they will fit. Just wanted to let you all know!
If it makes you feel better, my MOH tried on the eggplant dress and it wasn’t nice on.
One of my BM’s ordered that rust colored dress…not a pretty sight. She ended up buying off the rack from Macy’s.
At one point I started to wonder if I was crazy for actually looking at BM dresses for my rehearsal dinner - but no they are BEAUTIFUL!
Yea, last night I randomly went on the Jasmine site and saw that they had new 2008 bridesmaids dresses. That really bummed me out. oh well, hahaha. =/
I want them all too, and I’m already married. And I didn’t have bridesmaids even. 
My BM’s will all be in JH!
Iris — I’m feeling you on the bubble skirt… In my book, it’s a no-no unless you’re under the age of 13 or built like Kate Moss.
I too have kept away from wedding gowns, but I keep looking at JH’s site, waiting for the new arrivals, and changing my mind about the bridesmaid dresses (nothing’s been ordered yet, so it’s ok…for now!)

I was at a wedding this past weekend where each BM had a different Jim Hjelm dress in a light blue color, and by FAR my favorite one was the first one in your series — except it had pickups. LOVE IT.
