I’m Back… and MARRIED!!!

We (my HUSBAND and I) just got back to the city late last night and now have a brief reprieve before we leave for our honeymoon. No pro photos back yet, but here are a few sneak peeks!!!
The day (& weather) could NOT have been more perfect or gorgeous!!! We are still nonstop saying to each other in shock and amazement, “but wasn’t EVERYTHING the way it was supposed to be?!?!” There were quite a few little mishaps here and there, but overall it far surpassed our highest hopes!! More pics and stories to come soon!!

As for walking into the water, don’t worry, Diana, I was holding onto that dress TIGHT!! And it’s a lake, not the ocean, so if the water is calm it pretty much stays calm, so no waves to worry about. I considered it my own version of Trash This Dress…where the dress doesn’t actually get messed up.
Oops, just saw shine’s question! It’s Pronovias’s Jaguar, but with the neck bit cut off (it’s sort of like a halter). When I told my attendant at Kleinfeld’s that I didn’t like the neck bit she said that most brides who buy the dress alter it off and just connect a bit of the extra lace from the neck piece onto the top edge of a strapless neckline, which is exactly what I did!
