Last minute DIY detail created by me and my mom. I found these large red double happiness symbols from Chinatown and spray painted them gold. There wasn’t enough paint so you can see some of the red color remaining on the symbols. My mom then created chair covers using a pretty red fabric with gold roses.

The colors are so gorgeous, I especially love the ones taken next to the red wall!

aoedorothee, i bought my jewelry from Regina B and Haute Bride. I had a better experience with Regina and she’s so sweet in person! You should really check out her NYC boutique!

Phenomenal slideshow. I sometimes wonder if I should bother with video b/c slideshows can look so great and evoke so much emotion. I felt YOUR happiness. What a lovely bride and groom. Congrats!

Lovebug, I remember I had to lean back and sit very low for that shot. My tailbone was killing me so much on the hardwood floor! It was definitely worth the pain and it is perhaps my favorite photo.

Jen, it’s funny you say that.. We decided not to have a videographer because it was too expensive and we wanted to spend more money on a great photographer.

Just wondering if you Mother-in-law ended up liking your final look? I remember she had some not so nice things to say about your make-up trial and with such nice photos I was wondering if she changed her opinion.

BaghdadBride,

I actually didn’t get a chance to talk to her very much on my wedding day. My mom was mostly with me and I was so happy to see all of my friends from Chicago. At that point how everything looked didn’t matter as much. I tried my best to spend as much time with all the OOT guests because I knew they spent a lot of $$ to see us.

I LOVE the ceremony location! I’ve always said mine will be outdoors, but that could actually make me think twice! Absolutely stunning with such a beautiful and happy couple centering it all!
