A little bee asked me for proof of my makeup artist’s, Rita Brown, amazingness, and only because I think Rita is absolutely amazing am I willing to share pictures of me looking crazy. Which is basically all the time. I hadn’t posted these before because, you know: crazy.
This is what I look like normally — no makeup, unwashed hair, eating a giant rib.
This is when I do my own makeup and wash my hair.
This is from a Moustache Party when I drew on a unibrow and a moustache.
And this is Rita’s genius handiwork. (I think I’m trash talking something.)
And here’s me crying in Rita’s makeup. Note how it stays on my face!
And this is Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey. I have included him for no reason except that I like him.

I am so glad you posted this. I am a glasses bride and everyone keeps telling me I need to go without for the big day- how can they not understand that would result in me missing the aisle all together??! WTF? You are beautiful with make up and without- your wedding crafts are my favorite of all the DIY on WB! Thanks for the post!

Your makeup looks great, but you really don’t need any. Love the rib lol. How in the world did you get your hair to do the natural wavy thing(in the pic where you washed it lol)? I can never do that.

I met Rita a few weekends ago at the Nordstrom’s cosmetics trend show in San Francisco! I watched her apply makeup on a customer and it looked GREAT! She’s also incredibly beautiful.
