It’s In The Bag…

June 27th, 2007 @ 4:45 pm by Mrs. Jelly Beans

So because I have nothing else to do but work, eat, sleep, and plan our dream wedding, I decided I needed another DIY project to add to all the pending wedding projects! :-) Since we are having a hugantic bridal party, I needed several gift bags to place all their thank you gifts in. Enter DIY lightbulb!

I purchased plain, white gift bags from Michael’s, busted out my precious Vintage Paris Stamp Set, warmed up my stamping muscles and you have the makings of a new craft mission.

“Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to make fantabulous gift bags that will make your wedding guests thank their lucky stars that they chose to go to your wedding instead of vacationing in the Cayman Islands. This message will self-destruct, hopefully before you do, you crazy engaged lady.”

Nothing is impossible for this bride-to-be! *Cue Mission Impossible music* :-)

I decided to use a combination of shimmer pink and chocolate brown ink. I think they turned out pretty darn cute. I hope no one scrutinizes them closely because they will see all my oopsies. But then again, I have never heard of anyone getting up close and personal with a gift bag. Have you? :P

Yes it was a lot of stamping…. Towards the end my stamping got sloppier and sloppier…

I think my arms are toner because of this project… :)p Who needs a trainer?

Noel- The Notre Dame Cathedral that we are getting married in is in Ottawa, Canada… getting married in Paris would have been soo cool, thats where Mr. Jelly Beans proposed… :)

Wow. I feel you, though: I could get pretty OCD looking for white spaces that were too big an needed a stamping! I see you left the handles plain white, ha ha.
