The New Candy On The Block…

June 27th, 2007 @ 9:30 am by Mrs. Peppermint

Hello Weddingbee Readers, I’m Miss Peppermint!

I’m so excited to be a part of the hive and hope that you’ll enjoy reading my posts…I picked peppermint because I’ll be getting married in December, I love red & white, and I like to think that I have a bit of a kick to me.

Mr. Peppermint and I met four & a half years ago in college. We live in Los Angeles and love to watch movies, go to odd museums (the Liberace Museum, anyone?), make ravioli from scratch and play the Nintendo wii. I have an unhealthy obsession with Martha Stewart Weddings & In Style Weddings which has really helped feed my wedding planning habit.

As you know, we’ll be getting married in Palm Springs this December. We picked Palm Springs because it’s been our favorite weekend escape for the last three years and we really wanted to share that with our family and friends… It doesn’t hurt that it’s also where Mr. Peppermint proposed and Palm Springs (and the outlying area) has unofficially become “our” place. There have been some challenges planning a wedding 100 miles away, but at least it’s close enough that we’ve been able to drive out there a few times during the planning process.

I really look forward to being a part of the weddingbee community–I’m the first of my friends to get engaged and it’s been so wonderful reading the blog and hearing from other people going through the same thing as I am. Thanks for having me! :-)
