Martha Stewart’s Good Things

June 28th, 2007 @ 6:57 pm by Mrs. Bee

In the current issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, these pins featured in the “Good Things” section immediately caught my eye.  They’re a functional and elegant way to have escort cards that do double duty as ice breakers.

Martha’s website was recently updated to include the latest “Good Things” from her MS Weddings Magazine, so check it out.

Unrelated but kinda funny, here’s a recent im conversation with Mr. Bee:

Mrs. Bee: blah blah blah something about “MS Weddings”
Mr. Bee: who is ms weddings
Mrs. Bee: martha stewart
Mrs. Bee: sacrilege
Mr. Bee: forgive me
Mr. Bee: for i have sinned

:P

Please don’t take this the wrong way, I heart all things Martha. I know it is sacrilege to say anything against her, but here it goes……

I saw this in the new mag and thought this was a pretty silly idea. Who in their right mind is going to wear name tag buttons at a wedding? I (and everyone I can think of) hate wearing name tags at functions. I get so grumpy when they make me put them on at work networking events and I am so excited when the event is over that i take it off and tear it into a million little pieces. I would never ever voluntarily wear a name tag. Let alone name tags that aren’t even funny- they just say my name on them. Oh Martha, I’m so disappointed.

Are the buttons just to decorate the cards, or do people actually put them on?

people put them on… i think they’d be fun for a rehearsal dinner or another wedding related event esp if you’re having a weekend of activities. :)

Would guests be grumpy about having holes in their attire?
