We are having not one, but TWO weddings and TWO receptions in one weekend - American-style and Vietnamese-style - in Dallas, Texas, where I was born and raised!
Hubby’s Wedding Gift Arrives

After much searching, calling up various jewelers across the country, and the help of a very good friend, I was finally able to locate the perfect wedding present for the Hubs.

Since unwrapping a gift is half the fun….it comes with a leather pouch with the warranty and owner’s manual inside,
Then the front flap of the box folds down - how cool is that??
The watch
I think the back of the watch is really cool, too - it has a clear crystal panel thingy and you can watch the inside of the watch move!
I hope he likes it! (Well, he better or else I’ll smack him upside the head with this watch - which also happens to be CRAZY heavy!) Plus I don’t think I can take it back since I got it from a jeweler friend in Chicago with a crazy discount, no tax, and free shipping….

So nice!!! I thought of getting my guy a watch (he is SO attached to his swiss army watch)…He said, I don’t think I am ready for a nice watch…haha

my mom wanted to buy mr. bee a watch as a wedding gift as is traditional in korean culture, but he didn’t want it because he’s not really a watch person.
mr. plum is gonna love it i’m sure!
