He proposed after dating just two months - crazy, I know, but 2 years later, here we are, still crazy in love :-). We are having not one, but TWO weddings and TWO receptions in one weekend - American-style and Vietnamese-style - in Dallas, Texas, where I was born and raised!

I had my hair and makeup done TWICE in one day, just to accommodate the large and very heavy hat - not recommended, but necessary because the hat will wreck your hair if you want to have a taller/ larger hairdo…

You look great! I remember my mother telling me that she and dad made her hat themselves, and used a 2-quart saucepan as a base to wrap it around! Apparently it was the exact size of her head!

She also borrowed her wedding ao dai from a friend, from whom she is also borrowing her MOB dress, 30 years later!
