I'm currently living in Los Angeles, literally a street over from where I grew up with Mr. Kiwi, my honey of three years. We have a jumbo mini-dachshund (seriously, he's huuuuge), and we're planning an autumn themed wedding on a shoestring, paid for by ourselves. The wedding date is my late grandma's birthday, I needed her there somehow, and that seemed like the best way for us. I can't believe I'm a Bee! I couldn't be more proud!

I don’t know what to do about my hair for the wedding. I had it all set, it was going to be half up and half down, with my little tiara placed on top. It had been decided. Until I saw Miss Snow Pea’s hair. Now I’m considering putting all of mine up.

Mr. Kiwi said he likes it all up, it looks very elegant. I have definite pros for this style, it’s easy to attach the tiara and the veil as well.

I like the thought of an updo because you won’t have to really worry about it all night, plus you’ll be less hot and sweaty if you shake it on the dance floor
