Here Comes The Bride…

July 4th, 2007 @ 11:24 am by Mrs. Radish

I found this idea from knottie Pixelvixen and I think I’m gonna do it. The banners are about $40 from HereComesYourBride.com. I think it’s so adorable! More importantly, however, I have 2 flowergirls and 2 ringbearers who are all nieces and nephews of my husband-to-be. But I also want to include my baby brother and my nephhew (who are both 10 years old) in the ceremony, so I will have them walk the banner down the aisle right before I make my grand entrance.

I’m actually really excited about this because I’ve been feeling bad about not having my boys in the ceremony, and I’ve been trying to think of some way to include them. They both really want to wear tuxedos, but neither of them wanted to be readers. Initially, I was thinking I would just have them hand out programs but I think this is a much better idea and will make them feel really special. I’m glad I’ve found something good for them to do - and it is super cute. YAY!!

That is such a cute idea! The guests would love that. And then you can include the two boys in the ceremony in a special way!
So cute! And for only $40! Go for it!!!

I actually bought by save-the-dates from this vendor and had major communication issues with them (items was so late and they just would not contact me, i’m talking weeks, months went by), I had to dispute the credit card item. Another knottie had an issue with communication regarding their dress patches.
Just be careful!

The “here comes the bride sign” held by the children is simple darling! Says Nancy Swiezy
For added value I would then use it on the back of the “Get away Car”
One could use it in a wedding march down the street to the reception as well with Pipe and Drums or a Bag piper
I can’t wait to show this to my Newport RI Brides!

Ya know, that looks like something you could spend $10 on for a couple of wooden dowels, some white fabric, some fabric paint and a brush….

They’re adorable. I bought one, as I was in the same position with a bunch of adorable nephews that I wanted to participate. (I had all my nieces and nephews, including my “new” ones, participate in the wedding.) However…my husband left it behind the morning of the wedding. Argh! Oh well. My sister, the MOH, hated it anyway.

Need to put that sucker up on eBay…

I have a ton of second cousins that are all in the age range of 2-6…2 of them are going to be ringbearers…yes, I have favorites, and the rest of them are going to be bellringers. Same sort of idea as you but they are going to run down the aisle ringing bells and saying “the bride is coming, the bride is coming…” so cute!!!
